Sierra Hull and Highway 111 - The Hard Way (Huck Finn's Jubilee 2010)

http://www.sierrahull.com/ Having become quite a fan of Sierra Hull, I went to see her perform with Highway 111 at the Huck Finn's Jubilee near Victorville, California. After enjoying the early afternoon performance on 19 June 2010, I stopped by the table to say hello and I requested a beautiful track of Sierra's album SECRETS called "The Hard Way", a song that really shows off the superb vocal skills of this mandolin prodigy from Byrdstown, Tennessee. I was very happy and honored that they played this tune for me - one that is quite difficult, particular for bass and fiddle as Clay Hess explains. Highway 111 on this night: Clay Hess (guitar), Christian Ward (fiddle), Jacob Eller (bass), and Cory Walker (banjo, dobro). Photos were taken during the entire evening concert.
