BTW, the laughter at the end of (the "Get the Knack" version of) this song always was a GREAT touch.

@caeo100 That's good. Time heals wounds, and I guarantee that when your little bro passes (my wife lost her little brother on "New year's eve eve 2010", both were in their 40s) prematurely I assure you big brother's thought, and remembered, and probably is sorry about several things if he was that irascible to his siblings growing up.

@ATamandua Hi Doug's bro is keeping his flame alive in lots of ways, jealously guarding his legacy and promoting his memory...

If ever a bunch of guys worked together and did it right it was the knack.
I love all the parts be it guitar, bass , drums, vocals whatever. So few bands evoke a feeling that we all feel. Whatever that is. The beatles comparison is so stupid.

Was that a Pacer/Ranchero love child, lol...?

A diamond, no rough. I'm 48 and saw them at the Fox on the "Get the knack" tour - which was their first.. They never had to tune down as they got a little more age to them. I was into the new wave scene back then and saw the B-52s in Athens, Ga. right before they released their first album, saw The Cars open for Foreigner. The Clash, etc. Check them out playing Jet's When you gonna be my girl. They had an edgier Beatles type of sound that a number of bands later have sounded like. Good stuff!

So upset that Doug died =(
Agreed... I still consider Bruce one of the great Rock/Pop drummers. Incredible talent!
