Here's a killer song by Jerry Miller of the Remington Riders, featuring Riders guest Adair Torres on pedal steel guitar, Jan Lewis on piano, Robert Berry playing the Hamond B3 organ, and, of course, Jerry playing a magnificent guitar part.

Lyrcs:

Baby she's mad, and I'm feeling low,
Cocaine and whiskey will kill me I know
Rock and roll women, staying out all night,
Honey I love you, I just don't love you right.

Here I go, falling again
I ain't been sober since I don't know when
Keep on pretending everything's outta sight
Honey I love you, I just don't love you right.

Credits:

Jerry Miller: vocals and guitar
Jan Lewis: piano
Adair Torres: pedal steel guitar
Robert Berry: Hammond B-3, bass, drums, engineering
Thom Duell: engineering

Videography: Allan Lundell
Environment Management: Ben Burma
Video editing: Tony Hall

  • This is an AWESOME song and awesome performance Jerry and Jan and co. Awesome. Shared.

  • @thefogster61 Thanks so much, Paul. Love to hear that.

  • for pete sakes=-----somebody tell me more about this singer and does he sing in clubs or what--------------------------love his voice

  • @slovacek59 You have a good ear, my friend. The song is by Jerry Miller. Rolling Stone thinks he is one of the "100 Greatest Guiatarists of All Times." So do many of the other living guitarists on the list. But that doesn't explain the magic, does it? Re clubs PM me where are you? Thanks for commenting.

  • Great song, beautifully sung and love those bluesy guitar licks. You guys (and gal!) are so talented, would rather listen to this than 99% of the garbage that gets airplay these days.

  • WOW! This group is GREAT! I wish you could play in my state of Illinois, in the Capital City that is....... My son in law plays country in his band, but you are just as good or better I feel. I do hope you do play for the public.... you have a wonderful voice and your songs make sense. Good luck in your path on the music field. People like you are special and should be shared with us that carry a tune.. lol.
