@hammeredscout He and his wife are super humble. My friends' wife accompanied him on a business trip. She made friends with a woman and her kid at the pool. They discussed why they were therer. Dave's wife simply said her husband was playing a show nearby. My friends' wife asked where. Mrs. M replied " just a local venue" It was the Gorge. When she told her husband the story he flipped. Very humble, very cool.

@rben777 Tim is amazing. He's been a session guitarist on everything. What makes him so amazing is how he uses harmonics and drop tuning to accentuate not only Dave's guitar but also his voice. When they play together Tim uses his giutar to harmonize with Dave's voice.

@Huberns yeah, it pissed me off that he wasn't mentioned in Rolling Stone's top 100 guitarists. More original and contributory than probably 95 of them. 'Course, you have to play to realize it.
