A clip from the 1976 film "Sky Riders"
Robert Culp plays Jonas Bracken, whose life seems perfect until his wife Ellen (Susannah York) and their children are kidnapped by terrorists. After failed attempts to capture them back by the police, Ellen's ex-husband (James Coburn) enters the fray and enlists a crew of professional hang gliders to help him plan a rescue from the terrorist's mountain top lair.
Music composed by Lalo Schifrin.

I bought an 8 minute version of this film on Super 8mm film in the late 70s when i was 11 or so. Before cable, DVD or even VHS if you wanted to own the film the best you could do was to buy a mega-abbreviated black and white silent version on super8mm film from Ken Films. I still have it- and oddly enough, Ive never seen the full length version!

Is this the film with the stunt where James Coburn is hanging off the helicopter - also seen at the start of The Fall Guy?

where did this clip come from? I first saw this movie in the theatre in 1976 then perhaps once or twice on the television. Since then I have sought all over the internet for a copy of it -- to no avail. But still hopeful that it will one day be released. Suddenly these 3 minutes pop up on youtube --what a teaser. Hope to one day find out where I can watch the whole movie. A fantastic movie - unforgetable.
