im really sorry that your guy's film didnt make it it was soooo much better than my name is lisa...i mean that was a deep and very real topic but the actual movie...in my opinion just sucked Black Button was way more entertaining...keep the movies coming!

I just got done watching the contest winner and I really can't see what was so great about it. I think that Black Button was much better, not saying that my name is lisa is a bad film but I can't see why it beat Black Button.

It looks almost certain we'll be doing the film set in 1874 next, working title 'Of Land and Bounty'. We're getting a professional producer in for this one and applying for funding. Hope to have it done by mid-year.

Nope, this is Lucas Crandles, the writer and director of Black Button and other DHP films. The actor in BB is Hayden Grubb, who is the co-writer of the film and is the son of Robert Grubb (the Man Behind the Desk).
