@JuergenGDB I am a strong believer that if the likes of the SD were not involved partisian activity in the region would have been less in the region, and more consideration should have been with logistics and workforce willing to support the German liberators.

@fntime I hear you. I had been reading alot on that issue. Most Germans that crossed into the areas of Latvia, Estonia, and Lithuania really saw the Germans as true Liberators, and had their own revolt vs Russia. Sad that less than 1% made the decisions that would essentially effect so much. Ukraine as well could have managed to put up huge numbers of manpower for the Germans.

yeah, this is the crux of the issue, only if AH had not treated ukraine and baltic nations as they did but rather make them full independent allies. things would have been very different indeed.

You are correct Rico, the Germans were
the liberators of the Baltic.
If they had threated the Russian people
with any humanity instead of mindless
cruelty, Russia probably would have collapsed from within. The Communist
were hated and as cruel as the Nazi's.
The Russians would have treated them
as liberators.
But in the end, the Nazi's showed their true nature and it was beastly, irrational and arrogant.

No! No fundementalist nations should
have nuclear weapons.
Israel in 2 wars conquered the Middle
East, and could have brought the entire
Middle East under their control.
Since the late 1970's, Israel has voluntarily given up all lands not belonging to Israel or requiring occupation for defensive reasons.
If you are concerned about the Palestines,
don't be, they are a sad lot, that are ALSO
responsible for their own fate.
