thanks Felton, you saved me at least 100 bucks. did what you said, opened the air vent and sure enough, a big ole clog. took it out and now it drains. thanks for the post.

Wow...you just saved us a couple of hundred dollars. We pulled the cap off the vent, and found a plug of nasty crud....cleared it out, and voila....the dishwasher drains! Woo Hoo! Thanks!

@wizard101emily It wasnt filmed in HD so how would watching it in HD help?? Its not a movie its a video filmed BY MY TEN YEAR OLD DAUGHTER so watch who you bag on. FYI, she doesnt need to watch the video because she already knows how to free a drain line.

Hi, Thanks for your reply. Since appliance repair is not necassarily me forte' I cant be possitive. Their is a sensor or timer that controls the pump and indicates when the dishwasher is empty. It may also be the way your drain line is configured. Is your unit next to the sink. Is it configured in the straightest line from the unit to the air gap? Is their hose added on to the factory installed drain line? Who installed the unit? My email is in the video, send me some pics.
