  • One concern of mine are people with skyboxes. I'm hoping the shadows ignore objects that cast shadows, say, 700 meters away from the surface it would appear on. Otherwise the ground on most sims will have the shadows of the skyboxes from their stratosphere.

  • it DOES cast a shadow if you can see it that far away, you can however, just lower your draw distance, if you look up and cannot see it anymore, then it will not cast a shadow...

  • Do partially transparent prims cast cast lighter shadows? Would color-tinted transparent prims cast colored shadows?

  • it's sorta 50/50 for alpha things, anything under half alpha won't cast a shadow, and anything more opaque then that does, and colored prims do not, that would take several light beams to do it, and that would be abit to laggy, since it's allready fairly slow (~30-45fps on a goood machine)

  • what sim is this?

  • It was one of the Wastelands sims
