if you remove the strings 1 by 1 then thers no point in watching the rest of all these videos its a waste of time. Just remove the strings 1 at a time whenever you need to replace the strings just like any ordinary non-floyd rose guitar!!!

Wow, your dog is really well behaved to sit still the whole time you were
working on his back!

Hey jeff I got a question about guitar cleaning and set up in general. I have seen many methods of guitar set up and cleaning and what I seem to understand is, they all work but some have advantages over others. For instance cleaning frets with steel wool as opposed to a dremel. Steel wool is so much cheaper but dremel gives a better shine and no little fibers. I figured I would just ask a pro as yourself. Thanks a lot and hopefully I am right cause I dont like being wrong.

@frednintendomusic Thanks for watching! You should just tighten them down ... not enough to break anything - just snug on its pad to pinch the strings.
What is the preference for D'Addario? I always used Ernie and never experimented...

@WageASPSlaves I'm using Ernie Ball now too ... I do prefer them these days :)

thanks a lot for this!.....i have to say i have an older ibanez rg with a floyd rose licensed bridge that has it where the string goes through with the ball end and another that has a similar one to yours.....and i have to say the one with the ball string bridge is way better in terms of how bright it stays and how well in tune it stays....i think it's an edge bridge

hey i need help when i had my guitar i had just tuned it then the bridged was raised all the way up so i untuned it and never touched it since. any tips

@wild11311 Sounds like a simple fix ... did you put thicker strings on it or change to a higher tuning? The problem is that the strings have more pull than the springs have - they are not balanced. There is a cover on the back where U can get to the springs - two screws need to be tightened while at same time working with the tuning to get a balanced bridge. This is not easy to do though ... U have to have patience that is for sure!
