Experts on Burma came to Johns Hopkins University from all over the world to reflect upon Burma's political developments. Among the panelists, were representatives of both China an India. India and China both have their eyes on Burma.

  • China say ASEAN should take the lead, ASEAN say they will leave it to UN to deal with the junta. The UN say China should use their influence since they are Burma's closest ally.

  • The people of China and India would get more beneficial trade with Burmese people only when there is restoration of democracy and human rights in the country!
