Here is the extra stuff I did just after I made the first video uploaded here. Basically what's featured here is the house outside the main castle, door and a little of the inside of the kitchen and the Cave like Tunnel that leads to Arc Valley/Ancient Tower. As usual, please excuse the shitty animated camera, it's a bit difficult when it lags.

Bear in mind I'm no professional modeller so don't expect anything flashy like you'd expect in new-gen games.

This'll probably be the last you'll see for this because of course and we've switched to Maya so I might be a little out of touch with Lightwave nowadays.

Program used:
Newtek Lightwave 9.6 Modeller & Layout
Adobe Photoshop & Premiere
VirtualDub

Entire model (Castle and objects) was done by myself
Textures are done by various artists on Google Images .lol

  • You can get flashy stuff easily with any Unreal Engine. I really recommend you do this in UDK or even Unreal Engine 1 because it is really easy to make a map like this and make it look nice with dynamic lightning.

  • @xan1242 Yeah I've seen some stuff on Unreal Engine. I would love to be able to set up the map so it's explorable but I'm unsure how difficult it is.

  • @DragoonClawNZ1 In UE1 it was really easy for me to create, for example, one simple room, since it already has some presets in the editor, but I believe that you can import your own models and make them into the map.

There are many tutorials on how to get into editing and making maps in Unreal Editor. Once you learn that, you can make some amazing stuff.

  • Animation sure is a creative field...lol
