Further, just cross the borders of cities and go to real, rural Maharashtra. Have a close look at them. Their so-called "gauti" Marathi is a characteristic dialect of their region and is different in their own way. You need to understand their perspective and appreciate their style, its no crap at all, just the way is different. I hope this helps.

Everything has its own style, it is different in its own way and that needs to be understood well. A drama created by P L Deshapnde, Atre, Kanetkar, Savarkar is definitely awesome in its own way.
It would be actually insane and absolutely narrow-minded to call these people idiot, they are creating artistic things in their own way.

Comedy can be created even without making ridiculous faces or dance moves, and over the top acting (also without having guys dress up as women). All these idiots can come up with is gauthi language and acting, with no substance whatsoever. A natak based on P L Deshpande's writings would be much better appreciated.
