A US version of the movie is to be made, and it looks like Daniel Craig might be playing Blomqvist, the casting of salender is anyone's guess at this moment, but Noomi Rapace has stated that she does not want to do it. We could still hope, though, maybe if enough of us insisted? but i guess otherwise, Kristen Stewart did do a good Joan Jett----------and angelina is just too old

I would be entirely fucking PISSED if they did an American version and made Kristen Stewert Lisbeth Salander.. She by far does NOT qualify.. she's fucking BELLA for goondess sakes lol get somebody with backbone and better acting! And if America does do these movies, they better not fuck em up and make it Hollywood. I am a huge fan of these books, and to take away from the story is stupid.. they're perfect just the way they are and the way they were made.
