Sam and Lauren Get Engaged

Here is the video of me proposing to Lauren at my Uncle Dennis and Aunt Robin's house in Tempe Arizona. My entire family had just opened all of the Christmas gifts that we had gotten them (we were leaving to be with Lauren's family on Christmas day, so this was really about Lauren and I) and I told everybody that I had forgotten a present in the car so I ran out and grabbed the ring. When I come back in, that is where the video starts. I had told no one about this and had kept it a secret so that the surprise would not be ruined. Just before the gift exchange I pulled my cousin Denna's boyfriend Ryan (who I had just met that day) aside and let him in on the secret and gave him my camera so that he would video it. It is not seen in the video, but this is in a small room with 15 people crammed in. I am happy that we can share this moment with all of our family and friends who were not there. I love you Lauren!
