This is a severe thunderstorm with warning. I used a TriField Natural EM Meter to measure lightning strikes. Many of the strikes weren't captured by the camera. The rain was so loud most of the thunder was drowned out. The National Weather Service is getting creative about describing the size of hail - "ping pong ball sized". How big is that anyway? I haven't played ping pong in years!

  • That was awesome with the EM Meter! It was really close at 3:25-3:26. LOL! I never heard hail the size of ping pong balls! I guess they are getting creative. Aw! The poor little guy is in hiding! Great vid, Chris! Luv ya, Cindy

  • @mia0899cs Thanks Cindy! If I don't let the dog in right away, he'll go hide in the garage due to thunder. Golf balls and ping pong balls are about the same size. NWS is either getting creative or they don't play golf as much as ping pong in the warned area. Luv ya, Chris.

  • According to the NWS, Ping Pong Ball size is 1.5 inches in diameter. Just larger than half dollar size (1.25") and just less than golf ball size (1.75")
