ATWT 2-19a: Noah kisses Luke 'I love you'; Evil Luke investigates Elwood; Noah tells him not to

PART 1 OF 4 - Evil bitchy Luke is back, breaking the law and bringing grief to those around him. He not only ignores the law, but also the feelings of his loved ones. What Luke is ignoring is the fact that no one forced Reg to take drugs. So why blame the seller? Where's the blame on Reg? Blaming the seller is like blaming the pharmacist if a patient abuses painkillers. Like the whole Brian thing, Luke is not being honest about his motives. We never had any indication that he and Reg were all that close, so what's really going on here???

Luke is also being remarkably rude and confrontational toward Kevin. Keep in mind that Kevin was the victim of Luke's unethical behavior and as far as we know, Luke never apologized. Not only was Kevin victimized, but Luke never recognized that Kevin was genuinely rehabilitated. In fact, Kevin apologized for rejecting Luke when he came out at Raven Lake. Yet Luke is not adult enough to accept the apology, and has yet to apologize for his own behavior during the election. In fact, we can see that Luke still carries a grudge by rejecting Kevin's offer to buy coffee. Very immature. This is consistent with the criticism I have toward Luke regarding his relationship with Noah. Luke seems unable to move on -- to learn and grow. Instead, he brings up the past, i.e. grudges. For example, when Nuke argue, Luke often accuses Noah of not being out enough. This is consistent with Luke's obsessive behavior. He was obsessed with destroying Brian, and now it's Elwood.

I agree. Luke is becoming too irrational too fast. I'm uploading today's episode, and he's a jerk, a real spoiled brat. Not only does he break the law, but he also disregards Noah and his parents. He even lies to them. With the budget cuts and Noah voted Soap Opera Digest's "Most boring character," I worry that an Evil Luke storyline might be an excuse to cut Noah by making them break up.

I LOVE all of Casey's facial expressions as he dined with his mom. Goofy, confused, cute, hurt, etc .. so much going on in that face. Billy Magnussen and Van Hansis are geniuses in expressing their emotions without words.

ps - I know that "cute" isn't an emotion but I just had to point out how cute he was. :)

The actor who played Adam. Matt Cavenaugh, also played a gay college student on the ABC soap, One Life to Live. (actually, he was the replacement actor for Adam. The first actor disappeared mysteriously and was replaced the very next day by Matt)

Matt is better known as a Broadway musical star and has a great voice. He just sang some love duets with men at a gay benefit, but he's straight.

Well, if Kevin does turn out to be gay, it'll be a mighty temptation for Luke since Kevin was his first crush. It's also likely that Luke has seen Kevin naked more times than he has seen Noah naked because they were on the basketball team together. That also means they have showered more together than he has with Noah.
