is it just me or can the penguins not draft late?
People think they're geniuses for drafting malkin (2) staal (2) fleury (1) crosby (1) lemieux (1) and jagr (6). not saying that you can't screw up in the early 1st round but where is anything after the first round, can only count letang (62) malone (115) and recchi (67) noteworthy in the last DECADE.

or FREAKING DETROIT datsyuk (171) lidstrom (53) holmstrom (257) zetterberg (210) and MANY MANY MORE

@KingKonk95 Because every single NHL team was going to draft Crosby. The draft was being called the Sidney Crosby sweepstakes. He was one of the most heraled Prospects in History.
