the reason i prefer the iphone is because it has this hype behind it, and it does live up to it, its a very nice phone. all other smartphone tend to follow in the iphones shadow or don't really meet to it's standard. but i suppose its a matter of taste.

does any one know where to go to complain about there false advertisements ? was told i was going to be able to swap phones now there giving me ahard time and wont :( so dissapointed

Yes actually, you can. If you download the app called "ChompSMS", it has an on screen keyboard for one handed texting. It is set out like the iPhone's texting keypad.

how is the music features on G1?

Still a bit crude. You can play music and create playlists and all that easily enough, but the lack of a 3.5mm headphone port and Bluetooth stereo support is kinda a let down.

the phone seems just about alright. will take some adjustment, and somehow i've come to expect the world from google, so i won't lie, this phone hasn't blown me away. but the touch screen definitely seems better than the nokia 5800

The display is great, that much is true. The hardware design isn't inspiring, but the UI is pretty nice.
