  • Lol, the first time I tried this, my knees smashed into my elbows, and I fell on my face. Yoga fail! I think I've got it down now, though. :P

Great vid and clear instructions, as always. Thanks for posting.

  • Excellent!

  • what about damage to the spine?

  • the bit about the secret of the gaze is a pearl

  • Excellent instruction. Thank you very much. I'll let you know when I master it using your tips.

  • @diekontrolleure There is more to yoga than the postures and the breath (eight-fold path). In the west, we largely start with asana (posture) and some (pranayama) breathing and many don't go past that, which is fine. But there is more to yoga than these two things. I thought "I'm not flexible so I'm not going to do yoga". But once I started, I was hooked. It's really quite challenging and has helped me with two health problems. Hope you stick with it and find it helpful too. Peace.

  • I'm thinking this might help with downward facing dog to crane/crow pose. Tried it in class this week and it was, um, well lets just say interesting. Now I'm trying to figure out how to do it :) Thanks for this. I'll start here. Less falling on face :)

  • Quite helpful...thanks! been at Ashtanga for almost a year. Am 55...this is coming slower than I want, doing the vinyasas. This really helped.
