@TheEMANATIONvideo OMG. I agree with that. But I'll also have to add on the terms how people are introduced to magic and then it goes on the lines of ethics and so forth. As for the paranormal and UFOs and the like. I'll have to agree. The only place where I can find books about my beliefs is on the internet normally. Books on druidry and life.

I don't know if you can postulate a dichotomy: Mysticism is the pursuit of knowledge and magic the pursuit of power. To be able to perform magic is to be in possession of the gnosis. Mysticism is theurgical praxis sans ritual. Stimulating thesis though.

yes in fact most people use an auxiliary "magical" language. The more obscure and foreign-sounding, the better.

I have been finding a lot of people going into protection and ceremonial magic nowadays. Do you see that trend becoming more apparent as well?

@JacobDanielRay honestly i am pretty out of it as far as trends go of any sort. I do not watch television at all and I haven't looked at a magic message board in over a year. The last trend I noticed was rudeness. The bookstores are leaning more toward paranormal investigations and UFO/ ghost hunter sort of publications, that is about all I know. Sorry I am not much help on this.
