A four-person jump out of a Cessna 206 at Skydive Rick's. Kay spotted the lift (gave final corrections to pilot to line the plane up.) You can see John (right across from me) smile after I mess up one of the points during the dive. Last thing to look for is I follow Cassie in for a landing.

The jump was on June 21st of 2009 and the video was taken with my new Vholdr Countour HD camera set on "HD" (which is 1280x720 at 30 frames per second with a 135 deg. wide angle lense.)

Who wants to jump? :)

  • nice video and beautiful canopy ...

    where was this jump made?

  • @zwartegeest It was at Skydive Rick's in Ohio (near the Pennsylvania border.)

    Thanks for the comment!

  • Nice footage! I find it pretty funny that everyone has enough room to hang around outside the plane beforehand...haha

  • Thanks. Yeah, if it weren't for the wind, the big engine, and that 'spinny thing' we could actually have a conversation out there.

    Helmet cam's rock,

  • Nice falling!

    And landing!

  • Thanks! Now if I could only land an rc plane so well... :) - Ed

  • Nice exit

  • I wish that I was that brave! Absolutely a great video of some wonderful folks!

  • It's a Contour HD by VHoldr. It's about the size of a cell phone. Has 2 modes: HD - 1280x720 30 frames per second SD - 848x480 60 fps

SD is decently wide angle. HD is very wide. I shot this with the HD setting.

Remind me to do a video of how I customized mine. I made a few easy mounting systems to use it for skydiving, ice hockey, and on rc planes. Works great for all three.

I bought mine for $279 at: pointofviewcameras . com

    Thanks for the comment,

    Ed

  • Mmmm. Gooten morgen? Help! :) But me thinks me should say thanks. So: Thanks! ;) - Ed
