@Molton1878 I know, it's very powerful. I'm lucky enough to say I've seen them live a few times. What I really like about the visuals at their shows is how they never seem forced; they're never trying to tell any overarching story or take attention away from the music, they just go together well with the songs. That's not to say you couldn't find meaning in them if you wanted to, but they never demand that you have to. Godspeed live is just a great experience overall, musically and visually.

@LaLiLuLeLo1991 The video they made for the song in the concert is like wandering through a forest to a collapsed house, and then looking at a mass of crows in the sky, and then riding trains.

its scary to think, that what nazi germany could have become, if it wasnt for people like eisenhower, patton, marshall, wainright, bradley, churchill, roosevelt, brooke, montgomery, alexander, and the 16 million other US veterans of World war 2, thank you for keeping democracy alive. happy veterans day grandpa

I love that they chose such a depressing video with such an uplifting and hopeful piece of music. It just makes one realize that the world is actually a beautiful place, that there are good, great things even out there. The children represent the innocence and happiness we all tend to lose as we grow up. It makes one stop and wonder why we're killing each other all over the planet, why we're destroying all the good things we have. Still, there's a sliver of hope that it's not too late yet.

@LaLiLuLeLo1991 I don't even see see how one could possibly interpret the piece as dark, though. It's like thinking Washer by Slint is happy.

Sorry, but this video seems a little strange to me. This is probably Godspeed's most uplifting song in my opinion, so why you would set it against such negative images (bombs tests, wars, etc) seems a little out of context to me. It would probably make more sense if it was set to a song like World Police or Rocket Falls. Then again, the video is well-made and I suppose it's all down to interpretation.
