Peter Wolf drops in on the Giant Kings -- a Duke Levine and Chris Cote production -- at the Lizard Lounge 07.23.08 for two soul nuggs -- Spencer Davis Group's "You Must Believe Me" and Don Covay's "The Usual Place"
No more Bomba, but (Giant King) Chris plays bass with the Upper Crust and sings &/or plays guitar w/Finnish artists the Farangs, Solo Adultos & Pepe Deluxe... Lori (organ) started a music school, Matt (bass) records in LA as Matt Bunsen & the Burners, George (guitar) plays in Boston w/the Weisstronauts, Kingsley Flood & Eddie Japan and I lost track of drummer Brett (I think I'll google him next). Thanks for asking!
I attended this show, and while Wolf was certainly a highlight, the Giant Kings were amazing without him, too. They'll be back at the Lizard every Wednesday in August - check 'em out!

Such an incredible gathering of musicians. Last night's show was outstanding.
I agree with comment preceding this one, Mr. Wolf is a highlight to the evening's affairs, a bit of fun to end the evening with.
