Side Effects is the third webisode of Coping With Chemo, a series of six online animated vignettes that help young people learn how to cope with the challenges of having cancer and undergoing treatment.

These vignettes help answer questions teens might have about their disease and treatment, and help them cope with nausea, vomiting, hair loss, loss of friends and normal life, and returning to school after an extended absence.

  • During chemotherapy if you feel sick, TAKE THE PILLS THEY GIVE YOU, swallowing pills can be horrible but the anti-sickness tablets can make you sleepy, so you can just sleep through the chemotherapy, that's what i did a lot of the time. Just sleep through the days and you'll be cured in no time.

Screw cancer, chemotherapy, worst experience of my life and anyone elses

Thumbs up so people read this!

  • I got the exact same side effects.Friends avoid visiting me probably because they feel sad or they are afraid of cancer. Either way in Greece people are not well informed about leukemia and cancer generally. What is sure when dealing with all that pain and isolation, is that you have the opportunity to know who your real friends are! I hope I had seen that video before starting the chemo!

  • THE REAL CURE. Cancer is a chronic metobolic disease caused by a dietary deficiency of nitrilosides/Amygdalin found in seeds and other unpopular foods just like scurvy is a deficiency of vitamin C - This was discovered in 1952- Big pharma / FDA covered up the cure and declared it fraud and quackery. Watch WORLD WITHOUT CANCER Video and investigate. Many lives have been saved just by modifying diet and just saying no thank you to the Big pharma / FDA chemo/ radiation money $ rackett .

  • i wish i had seen this before starting my chemo... it would have made it a little less scary. happy though that i am now able to say i am almist 3 years cancer free

  • Honestly, I was terrified of the thought of going on Chemo if I ever got cancer but this video just made my fears a little less scare...thank you:)

  • good cartoon! fuck cancer and chemo!

  • @127miles. You are an idiot. And you obviously have never had cancer.

  • That horrible, I'd rather cure cancer with weed

  • I didn't know the biggest problem for them is boredom. I need to check my patient's emotions more han I did from now on. Thanks.
