I like this, very creative. I bounce back and forth from doing graphic design on a professional level and a personal level. To be honest I suck at it professionally but every once and a while it pays well enough for me to try it. However, all the aspects that you described are applied to both levels of work and even if we don't realize that we are using them, we are.
