First movement, Entree, from the Weiss sonata in A minor, L'infidele. Found in both the London and Dresden manuscripts, it features "oriental" dissonances and rhythms likely referencing the Turkish invaders of Vienna in 1683. A favorite of lutenists and guitarists alike. Played by Daniel Shoskes on a 13 course baroque lute built by Andrew Rutherford.
