  • Gotta love them Dodge tight torque convertors. Makes 'em lurch. Love yr car. Mine was a 383 coupe. Miss it every day. i agree with jarat85.. silent but deadly does it. Hard to tame a hot 413 but.

  • SORRY IT TOOK ME SO LONG TO REPLY TO YOUR COMMENT. I HADN'T CHECKED THE COMMENTS IN MONTHS. THANK YOU FOR THE COMPLEMENTS! WAS YOUR 383 CAR ALL ORIGINAL? i UNDERSTAND THAT A FEW 62 DODGES CAME WITH A 383 ENGINE. WHAT COLOR WAS YOUR CAR? i HOPE YOU EVENTUALLY FIND ONE. i THINK THEY ARE GREAT CARS.

  • What size exhaust and what mufflers was that? My god... that's the sound of absolute perfection!

  • Sorry it took so long to reply to your questions. The exhausts are 21/2" all the way back with Flowmaster series 40 mufflers. Thanks for the compliment!

  • cool old car nicely done but dude Im sick of flowmasters, everythign from chevy trucks to honda civics and 32 fords have them.. including my dad 350 powered 1971 FJ40.. not too mention they are almost 200 a piece.. dude.. 30 each cherry bomb glass packs... the ones on my 70 stang dont even do that idiotic back rap... one thing that keeps the cops off my ass here in town

  • I had a Polara 500 hdtp w/361 (police), there was one. It was plenty strong. Top speed was about 140, I know the guy who got the ticket! I bought the car from him for $700.00 in 1970.

  • Very nice! I love the '62 Dodge.
