@adeduction it's not a matter of playing jazz better than the next dude. arguably Jarrett has more technical facility than Evans... but to try and convince a jazz pianist that Evans is better than Jarrett and Jarrett than Evans would be a tough sell, that i can promise you. music will evolve but it's evolution is only fired by our imaginations not a programmed computer.

I don't think any HUMAN in the future will play jazz piano as great as Keith Jarrett and his trio plays today. HOW CAN thiskind of playing or this kind of music evolve more? We've programed a computer to beat human chess champions. Can we program a computer to play better that this GENIUS plays paino?
Years before Bach's birth a composer from the Nederlands said that music couldn't actually evolve more (He was talking about a composition of 32 voice polyphony), well ... it did...
