There in 1968 with military. Beautiful place! Cant believe how developed it looks now.

o.m.g. vieques is the most gorgeous place i have ever been to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love the place and i wanna go back.... its so pretty..... i think my fave beach was blue beach. so amazing.

I loved it there why did i have to go, why did they have to shut down base.Ah well glad you enjoyed your vacation while i was in ceiba in 5th grade 2000, i never got the opportunity to see vieques because of the angry mobs of natives, blaming the navy for destroying their lives, funny though we never had any issues with the folks from the main island. Very nice generous people.Oh well I got to go to culebra very very nice, crystal clear water the works.
