This LNAH is a trash league
-
du vrai hockey comme dans l'temps...pas du hockey de tapette tabarnak!!!!
-
And Sorel arena seats are way the best in the league :)

i remember that game i was siting behind goalies. The first thing I remind is that after 5 seconds we had see already 5 fights. Personnally i am not a fan of one of these team but i was there because it was a big match up at this time. Prob the best LNAH game i ever seen !!!

@slodrive Haha yeah exactly. Only thing I didn't like about this was the fight in the stands at the end. I get that emotion spills into the crowd but theres no reason for fans to be fighting over a hockey game really. That's also why I love Junior Hockey, there are some really passionate fans but they don't attack opposing fans. Windsor and Belleville used to be bad and I'm sure there have been some QMJHL incidents but it's relatively good. How is Jr. B? Lot of fans/passion?
-
@LeafsFanInOttawa Yeah, I'm a big OHL fan too -- and also enjoy Jr. B games here and there as well. I just enjoy the emotion, intensity and non-robotic play of the juniors. I live in Hamilton where there Bulldogs (for many off-ice reasons as well) get ignored for some of these reasons. For me, yeah, the fights are fun, but I just long for hockey where players actually get swept up in the emotion. Not sure how the LNAH would rate on that scale -- seems like plenty of staged fights too!!
-
@slodrive Haha yeah. I love watching LNAH and attending OHL/QMJHL games because it's a step away from the corporate NHL. In the NHL, everything stays somewhat civilized (although there are still some amazing fights/brawls), but moreso, every single building is built pretty much the same in the pros. These junior/semi-pro leagues are amazing because every building has a more unique identity and the players become a part of that. Oh. And the fights are better of course haha.
-
@LeafsFanInOttawa LOL! No problem!! Better late than never! Yeah, you're probably right. I get the 'sideshow' perception of the LNAH, but sometimes I wonder if that's better than the apathy that greets OHA Sr. A here. It just seems that, if nothing else, this would be a bit more of an event to go and see. Novelty could certainly wear off -- and, in southern Ontario there is a pie of hockey to watch. But some days,,,,man...sure would be nice to see some hockey with emotion and intensity.
-
@slodrive Sorry, I know this comment comes several years after yours, but honestly, it's not really a bother not having this sort of hockey in Ontario. Maybe I speak from a position of bias because there's QMJHL hockey (Gatineau) 45 minutes from my house. But this kind of hockey just screams Quebec. This sort of hockey wouldn't have the same sort of following in Ontario, even though people like me and you love it, it's so much more appealing to Quebec cities. All the best though.

That tool on the bench was too much. Is he a fan or just a shitty player whoi can t even get in the goon game.
Man that was as physical a game as I've ever seen. You guys are lucky!
ohh..je ne parle pas francais. Je m'excuse. Je souhaiterais nos avoir le LNAH a sud-Ontario. (That's me trying to say "I wish we had the LNAH in southern Ontario!!!)
