I noticed you had a guitar video with it. Have noticed any distortion in sound quality for loud sounds. I have the webbie maybe 2 months now and from day one, I noticed low quality sound. If you go to my channel and review some of the newer karaoke videos, I think you'll see what I mean. My old JVC digital was way better on sound qual. So, I would like to know if I have a lemon for a camera or they all sound that way. Thanks

Yeah, mine isn't THAT great with sound, It has this thing where the mic try's focusing where the camera is focused and I feel it hasn't really worked...

Ummmm, I have the MHS-CH1 (The one that actually looks like a camcorder), and it has 5x optical..... The "Flip" style one does not have optical though....

Yeah, you get what you pay for, but you can probably pay a little bit more for a sanyo xacti vpc-cg10...which is way better, you don't have that super sensitive mic and the quality is perfect for youtube.
