    i'm so impressed by the way Habitat helped with temporary housing followed by permanent housing in Haiti. I just returned from the Nepal Everest build and know intimately how Habitat helps real people with real long term solutions to eliminate poverty housing.

    Perhaps this is considered good housing in Haiti, but they look like expensive tar-paper shacks to me. Shacks are better than tents? Is that the logic? Not sure I approve of this. What about an infrastructure for drainage or don't they install plumbing? Electricity? Heating? Looks like they're building fisherman shacks for temporary housing not long term residences? I don't understand it.
