Hi, this animation is NOT mine, I downloaded it from 3dfractals.com. I have played with the applet myself, I'm just posting this one because I love it.

  • i need to know what prog u used

  • It is the TetraBrot Explorer Java applet, which you can play with on the 3dfractals website. It is available to download by request only, you can email Dominic via the contact page. Making animations requires a separate animation prog, as TetraBrot merely creates .bmp files.

  • that's great! what program did you use?

  • See above.

  • Deja vu...

  • I see fractals when I sneeze.

  • How does a 3D Mandelbrot set work? How can you map the complex numbers onto 3-dimensional space?

  • Looks pretty sharp ;-)

  • phenomenal

  • Intruiging.

  • Interesting. It appears the camera is zooming, but at times it also appears the 'mass' is inflating.

  • what do you mean??

  • Looks just like 2 mandelbrots. One used as a profile, the other used as an extrusion.
