Daniel 11:32 "With flattery he will corrupt those who have violated the covenant, but the people who know their God will firmly resist him." I won't go into a lot of detail, since anyone who has studied the Old Testament already knows these things. The children of Israel were captives in Babylon for 70 years, after 490 years of violating the Lord's command to let the land rest from cultivation every 7th year. This is what Jesus was referring to when He said we Christians should forgive those who trespass against us "seventy times seven," or 490 times, (meaning, this is one of God's immutable statutes regarding His chosen people, and since Jesus is God in the flesh, to be like Christ we must follow God's historical example.) So, the covenant Daniel is referring to here is clearly the Sabbath. Period. Now, let's dispense with the disagreeable pitfalls of others, and move on from the milk to the meat of this matter: Exodus 31:13 says,
"Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth SANCTIFY you." (KJV) Another paraphrase says: "Say to the Israelites, 'You must observe my Sabbaths. This will be a sign between me and you for the generations to come, so you may know that I am the LORD, who makes you holy." (NIV) So, when Daniel identifies "those who have violated the covenant," we know this means Jewish people who no longer honor the Sabbath as a day of rest, (which was an Old Testament type of sanctification,) and in the New Testament Church, those who have forsaken the doctrine of Holiness, and separation from this world. There are many 'rabbit-trails' different sects can run down with this one, and I make no statement with regard to any of them. Holding a certain day as your day of worship, (that emphasis taking precedence over anything else,) is merely honoring the 'type,' often while missing the real thing, which is Holiness, and 'separate-ness' from this world. With a staggeringly huge audience consisting of Roman Catholics, Muslims, Apostate Jews, Mormons, New-Agers, and lukewarm, "Carnal Christians," Joel Osteen continues to corrupt millions with nothing more than shallow, empty flattery: "You are very special." "You deserve more." "It's payback time." "You are exactly where you need to be right now." "Stop feeling guilty." "God wants you to be happy with who you are." "Tell yourself that you can become a better person." "you need to get your hopes up." Nothing against positive affirmations, but learning to accept your faults, and working to "Become A Better You" doesn't have any basis in Scripture, other than in the negative sense... Jesus is returning soon for a glorious, victorious Church, without spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing. How perfect and spotless we choose to imagine or mentally 'affirm ourselves to be' is completely irrelevant to where we stand in light of Scripture. I hope this video illustrates more than just the subject matter it covers.

Osteen, and Obama have a lot in common. Neither have a firm foundation in Christ Jesus, or adhere to biblical principals. Sadly they fail to realize that Jesus is the Only way to Heaven, that one MUST be BORN Again! Osteens feel good theology is straight from Joel, not the Bible...and we have been warned...even if an angel from heaven preach any other Gospel than the true Gospel of Jesus Christ...they are accursed, according to scripture. We all know where Obama worshiped for over 20 yrs. SAD!

@k0smon well it dont think bible scholar bart ehrman knows shit. because maybe god didnt write it bt he told the writers what to write. the bible is meant to provide morals and tell us the story of prophets and tell us how to love god why to love god and how to reach the kingdom

Joel Osteen is the most richteous man on earth that i know of. people aregoing to hate him because the devil makes it to were people hate people like him who are pure as he did with christ. And i dont see how people think he has anything to do with this "NWO" bull, god obviously had favor for him and made his church the biggest in the nation because he preaches a powerfl testimony. and he may not know who does and doesnt go to heaven cause only does but ive met him and i know he will.
