Overton Park Shell:
Elvis played live at July 30th 1954 for the very first time at this location.
He sang his hits "That's all right" and "Blue moon of Kentucky". His second gig was on August 10th, 1954. Elvis performed two shows. One year later, on August 5th, 1955, Elvis was the headlining act. Opening for Elvis and making their first concert appeareance were "Johnny Cash and The Tennessee Two".
1034 Audubon Drive:
Elvis lived in this - his first - house from May 1956 until March 1957 when they moved to Graceland.
Elvis payed 40.000$ cash.
The location is absolutely wonderful - surrounded by many parks and beautiful mansions.
If you're coming straight from the "East Brooks Road" you somehow feel like a real king!!!

I remember hearing that they may tear down the shell a while back, I dont know if they are still planning on doing so
