CAPT Christopher B. Thomas presents the Legion of Merit to CDR Wesley R. Guinn, awarded by the President of the United States. CDR Guinn spent three years in command of the Los Angeles-class attack submarine, which has a crew of 16 officers and 118 enlisted sailors. During that time, Iron Horse," as its called, covered 109,454 miles (without stopping for gas) and spent 566 days away from home, 490 of those days at sea.
