Barak Obama visited Elkhart County Indiana on Wed August 5th. Protesters of Obamas Health Care Plans, Cap and Trade and Card Check came out to voice their opinions. The crowd chanted in the hopes President Obama would hear their concerns as he arrived to speak to a local Manufacturing plant receiving a government grant.

  • First of all, healthcare is not a right. Secondly, prominent democrats also believed there were WMDs in Iraq; it's not just a Bush phenomenon. reasons-for-war-with-iraq.info And finally, Obama's own socialized medicine program CUTS $400 billion from medicare just to bring the tab under one trillion dollars. Who's pushing the elderly over the cliff in their wheelchairs, again?

  • does any body notice that theres not one black person there? these people are all racist rich republicans who are protesting against a black president! they should really be mad at bush! bush went into iraq spent trillions of dollars and there was no weapons of mass destruction. hes the one who put us into this economic depression. no wants to admit it because there blinded by there partys wants. and dont say that im saying this because im a dem when im not, im really an independent who lisons

  • to the people. sometimes the people are wrong but most the time there right. oh and do you want to know who is saying this?! a 12 year old boy who watches the news every day and even runs his on website on politics.

  • @genereeper The Nazis were socialists and made Germany socialistic, they even tried to put in place a socialized healthcare system like we're trying to do now. It didn't work. Then just like every other nation that becomes slaves to their government they suffered for it. The Russians, the Chinese, and the Cubans all are suffering the same fate over this "wonderful" state controlled healthcare system. Besides the US government does not have a legal right to distribute healthcare anyways.

  • Lets get some facts, 45,000 people die a year because of no health insurance. Instead you let big banks payoff the Bush Administration, to bail banks out. Its clear to me whod been paid, then try to turn this country into a Nazi-Nation. NO CORPORATION/ STOCK FIRM should be in charged of someones LIFE. CHANGED NOW, HEALTHCARE NOW

  • Why is it that every democrat I try to reason with simply doesn't understand the economics behind a government run healthcare system? Is it the fact that most are to busy to be bothered with reading the facts or apply logic to why we don't already have government run healthcare right now? There's a damn good reason, it doesn't work. It's a nice idea to think that everything can be "free" and accessible to everyone, but it doesn't work like that. Please, I plead with you all to research.

  • Sounds like they don't want anybody else to get insurance, and they call them selfs American

  • @N5II you're a bit stupid to believe that. DO THE RESEACH.

  • Bunk!! If you've got three grandparents dead because of the excellent care in Canada, then I'm Ross Perot. This is just the sort of unsupported and scandalous smear tactic that is trotted out by demagogues who have no facts on their side. Your last line is typical. The US ranks 39th in health care because of higher infant mortality, lower life expectancy, and higher morbidity (seriously illness). Yet we spend DOUBLE what the British do as a percentage of our GDP. Take your reality pills.

  • Do you think that we want people to go uninsured or something? We want the best care for everyone but that's not government run healthcare. I had three grandparents die because of the mediocre healthcare system in Canada so don't tell me that the government run healthcare is an acceptable option, it isn't. We don't even have the money to spend on a public option if we wanted to anyways. A public healthcare system is simply outdated and inefficient in comparison to our current system.
