I enjoyed Warriors Orochi 2 much more than any of the other Warriors games. There will be a new one out soon, but 2 was really nice.

According to one of the faqs I found there, the weapon skill "Agility" increases the attack speed of charge attacks. That's all that exists on WO1, so no, you can't increase normal attack speed. "Almighty" on WO2 works the way it does because it applies charge attack attributes to normal attacks. Anyway, try spending longer than 2 minutes on your research.
