The latin breed will live in history forever, I still remember their concerts in Chicago, and they still sound awesome, Jimmy Edwards and that voice, is just beyond reproach
I love this song and album.. My dad used to play this song and i would wake up to this and dance and my uncles would throw money Though were good time thanks for the memories
I saw Latin breed in the late 70's at the. The El Paso Civic Center. There was a back up band There called (Sonora El Paso) I'm sure the musicians were not as seasoned as the latin breed members, but the got a bigger audience. As a group the kicked some major ass that day.It seemed they were a bunch of little kids. Does anybody have video of them that can be posted? I heard that they recorded a few records but the one that came out was stifled by the studio. There are about 5 others unstifled.
No one did it like the Latin Breed, they were the best back in late seventies. I had all their music on cassettes lol.. That's the way it was back then. Their Re Union CD was even better, pure Tejano. They were cutting edge, they took Tejano to another level with their brass and vocals. We could use more. Thanks LB for all your music, I'm in my late 50's and I still listen to their oldies.
Man!!! I just saw Jimmy Edwards and Latin Breed at the Blanco Ballroom in San Antonio last week; the energy it brought to the crowd was amazing!!!!! Love this music!!
