It's so hard to get such a clear yet full sound from the viola, but that was really well done! Also, the double stops (bane of my existence...) were awesome.
-
FYI to those who asked, the cadenza is by Franz Beyer. Lovely performance.
-
absolutely beautiful, sounds as a viola should sound.

very nice um would anyone know where i could find a video for hoffmiester concerto in b flat pl send me a message since i cannot locate it on youtube

@violaXplayer Good point.

@TpFrdqil13yphr666m Reason being is because there aren't a lot of professionals who perform this piece; they would rather save these pieces for the students. And just because you don't play in tune doesn't mean everyone else should slack off.

@violaXplayer I'm sorry, but if you don't like this edition then why did you listen to it all the way? Also, him being pitchy isn't that bad, especially compared to how I play it now (really badly.....though I did just get it *sigh*) anyway, it's not like he's trying to be completely perfect, it sounds amazing to me.

Amazing, someday I wish to be able play this piece that beautifully. ^-^

This one certainly belongs to the top 3 recordings of the piece available on YouTube. I like the playfulness a lot! =)

I hate this edition, but not bad, the orchestra is a bit loud and you were a bit pitchy and again i don't like this edition
Those don't really sound like triplets from 2:27-2:31.......

@Gatoradecup
They aren't "supposed" to be triplets. In some editions, the editor will add them as an embellishment, but they actually aren't originally in the score.
