Thumbs up if you want Dan writing the final battle between Horus and the Emperor. Bring back Ollanius Pius!

That would make sense as the series should end after the scouring and the beginning of the open religion of the Imperial Cult and Ecclessiarchy.

They must have changed somewhat. Since the heresy they've lost their primarch (for all intents and purposes) and they are a unit of 1,000 or so rather than the 250,000 they were before. Those are two very big differences that would the way any group worked.

@Catubrannos True, i'll not argue that point, but I just would have liked to see the person with the most experience in writing them handling their biggest role in the Heresy. I don't dobut that Abnett will produce something worth reading, but lack of experience in writing them did result in one of the lesser books of the series. Though i would be surprised if the Ultramarines have changed that much since the heresy.
They've always been by the book tacticians as far as the fluff goes.

It's better this way if you think about it. McNeil is writing about the chapter in "the current era" whilst Abnett will write about them 10,000 years earlier when they are still a legion. The difference in style will hopefully come out in the story so that the chapter is not just a mini-me version of the legion but a different organisation - which it should be.

Last book in the Horus Heresy should just be called "GOD-EMPEROR"

Many thanks for the video, you're looking well Dan. Take care (not a threat)! :)
@Lysander45 I was an Ultramarines player until 2008, and i'm still furious at how they were presented in them. It wasn't as bad as what happened to the Grey Knights, granted, but it was still a horrible misrepresentation of the chapter. Not to mention reducing all other chapters to one statement: "They can never be Ultramarines".

Would like more of these videos and wish more black library authors would do this.
