  • I say a terrible 'politician' - as ZJ is far too interested in truth, logic, humanism, compassion, fair-play and common sense to make a really good wheedling politico. ;)

  • Yup. ZJ would make an awesome politician.

  • @primecyber1 So you agree that the bible cannot be used as a source of knowledge about god?

  • k, this vid is old, but Ive been watching a good much of ZJ's videos today and all I have to say is, "ZJ for president!"

  • I believe in the bible, but how come no one points out you can only trust the bible as much you can trust the person next to you. Because, the bible states, it's self, that it's written by a man not god. Many people claim to have heard the word of god, and not given a second thought by even true christens. Thumbs up if you think I have a point.

  • Hmmmmmm... it said dudes can't sleep with dudes. It never said anything about chicks sleeping with chicks. THEY WERE WRONG IN EXPELLING THOSE GIRLS! ;D

  • @KuwaitF22 You interpreted that as a command for Christians to kill people. You obviously didn't understand what it was talking about.

And sure there were no Christians, but since it is a lesson on what God expects from those who serve Him, it is applicable to any servant of Him, including Christians.

Yes, one fool can ruin anything. But a foolish interpretation of the Scriptures is not a basis on which to diminish what is contained within them.

  • @ndbass09 ? There were no Christians at the time anyways. And (just an FYI) Jesus said at one point that Gentile were no better than pigs. I don't need to read the whole story, all I need to read is that one little part. 19:27. And in those days (and today), it only takes one fool to take that the wrong way and go killing people, and thats exactly what happened.

  • @KuwaitF22 If you actually read the story in which that verse is contained, you'll see it's a promise of judgement from God on those who are actually serving Him. If anything, it is has more judgement promised to disobedient Christians than a "sinner".

And of course, this in no way facilitates as a command for Christians to kill sinners.

  • @ndbass09 Lucas 19:27

    No, thank YOU, good sir.
