@PRsoxFAN LBJ as aSenator voted against the civil rights act of 1958 as did every other southern democrat including the late Senator Byrd of Virginia by the way the great Senator Byrd was the head of the Virginia KKK .LBJ'S vote is a matter of public record why he voted this way i don't know but he in fact did.
