Doesn't mean he doesn't know what he's doing...it's not like he's a big fat slob.
And what about football coaches or basketball coaches? I've been coached by guys that couldn't play the game but studied it and broke it down so well that they know it better than the players! So give the guy a break!
@EllasGuitarist These sorts of routines will really push you and get you physically and mentally right for a bout as well as other aspects of training and competetive sparring (laying off the beer helps to). I really wouldn't worry to much about gaining muscle (too much artificial muscle is bad for a bout). Your strength will increase to a degree but these sorts of work outs will condition you so you will stay stronger for longer during a fight which can only help.
@lordblighty I feel more comfortable competing at a heavier weight, ive been naturally heavy set all my life. After a training injury to my knee i was unable to train for a while and lost a fair bit of size/strength and weight overall.
this vid needs more tattoo's :)
