Snowboarding Tahoe 2011 (GoPro HD)

On January 14-16 we took a trip up to Lake Tahoe to get some boarding in. This was my first time using my GoPro HD cam. I used the helmet mount and also stuck one of the sticky mounts on my board (which later popped off after I went off a small jump). I shot everything in the 720p 60 fps (R3) mode so I could slow it down later. There is a little slow motion in here, but it wasn't powdery enough (and we weren't doing crazy enough stunts) to make slow-mo look cool for a lot of shots. I think next time I'll have to try getting a pole cam too.

Nice vid! What mount have you used for the facecam?

@OaksHelmetCam I used one of the curved plastic helmet mounts (that has the double sided tape on it). I then used several extender attachments to get it to stick out far enough to have room to mount the camera backward.

the video starts off cool, then it just goes downhill from there..facecam *shutters*
