  • I have kooks stainless steel long tube headers & the silverbullet exhaust to complete the rest of the system. The sound she makes with that combination is sweet. That's what I prefer. It cost over 2 grand but it was well worth it.

  • @pitbull151 Awesome! For along time i had wanted to put longtubes on, all i could afford at the time were shorties. i heard the silverbullet exhaust for myself and it does sound mean.

  • Sweet Sweet Sweet love that "arrest me red" color man. Go Borla if ya got the bucks for bolt ons man. Its all SS cat back. Nice rumble and all SS but it's pricey. Supercharger likes the BORLA and the K&N Intake and I love the 430 hp at a stoplight go man. Truth though I got more rumble in the 40 mph stoplight slowdown without the brake with the stock exhaust. But the again I got a % increase in horsepower. Hey man I never have to buy a muffler for this truck.

  • @SVTblack03 Thanks alot!!! I loved that truck, unfortunately I had to sell it so its gone, my new mission is to find another one so I can get my speed on, I did alittle work on mine I estimated the power to be around 450 at the crank, I heard that some factory lightnings were putting down over 500+hp at the wheels stock, thats just awesome. if I ever get another lightning I'll check borla out.

  • Hey man. What exhaust system would you go with? Stainless is the only option. Which one?

  • aluminized would be another option, that is what was on this truck, the aluminum on the pipes extended the life of the system, it also stayed pretty clean, if stainless is your only option then go with that. ask your local exhaust shop what they think. Since your looking for a european sound Magnaflow would be your best option. I still think flowmaster would sound better though. i know that both magnaflow and flowmaster come in S.S. flowmaster is my choice.
