@termarkuss this is true- same goes for most of "christian" music. it seems as if a ton of music is made to increase sales, rather than to increase repentance and holiness in Christ. Indeed, let us continue to pray for those in the music ministry. God Bless! =)

@DDDDDDDD35 It sure is. I know it's kinda tacky to have magazine articles and a paper map taped to my wall (lol!) BUT, I do it so that I can be reminded of the true physical suffering that many fellow christians are experiencing around the world. So few churches talk about, and very few ministries address it- and being in America makes it so "easy" to "forget"..I don't want to forget..

@ExPartyGirl - I am the owner of a Christian law firm and your Encouragement for Holy Hip Hop video even encouraged me to continue in my ministry as a lawyer. It's like you state: God has annointed every one in the body of Christ with specific gifts and we must use these gifts to minister to lost souls and establish the kingdom of God!! When I discovered artists like LeCrae, Flame, and Tedashi, I was blown away! No excuse for any Christian to listen to the world's music which glorifies sin.

I didn't think i would actually listen to gospel hip hop until i came across this christian rapper named Bizzle. I'm not sure if you heard of him, but ever since i heard him, i began to shift further away from secular music especially TRAP music in particular like Young Jeezy and Rick Ross. I always felt and sensed in my spirit that the music we listen to and music videos we watch were fake. I am steady planting seeds and putting hundreds of friends and inspiring rappers on real conscious music!
