Pat Hawk is such an asset to this performance. She doesn't steal the scene, she adds to the performance. It will be a cold day before we see the likes of Mr. John again. We miss you.

Thanks for your posting. It trigged me to do a research and I came up with Pat Hawk as the back singer. Google her name for more info. This video is from The Wildlife Concert in 1995 and the whole show can be bought on DVD.

Thank you for this comment. I was not aware of the name James Burton. But it is obvious that the musicans backing John Denver in this video, is of the best.
I have now had my first lesson in "chicken picking" and I agree, mr Burton is a awesome guitar player !
