Stock XR6T vs VE HSV R8 307

Back when my car was a 100% completely stock BF MK2 XR6T racing a brand new VE R8. I got a 13.8 and my PB for that night got down to 13.74

From reading on the forums, the V6 Turbo AWD Taurus is good for mid to low 14's stock as a rock. Friends of mine are pulling 12.6-12.8 seconds stock as a rock down the 1/4 mile in FG XR6T's with the ZF6 Auto. So you are right holdenls1ssz....the Taurus doesn't stand a chance :)

@LJtricks r u feeling well you be lucky to get a 13.4 out of it 9s what drugs r u on i owned one 317 r8 with the mods u said still could not beat a stock f6 get of the dog shit retard sold that r8 pig....bought a f6 2000km on the clock 12.8 fucken stock u need a s/c on a r8 just to keep up with d f6.. u can dribble all u like no fucken way u need to change diff gears,stally,heads gutter the car make it lighter and it still be lucky to get a low 12 out of it there fucked old design ohv pigs

@hsvsv8 i aint hatin mate and i love holden, but every passionate owner tends to blame the driver all the time..? I own 2 holdens and im only 15! but the XR6T is a mechanical masterpiece which will go down in history as a V8 killer, my money is going behind the XR6T everytime in a race against a HSV..if holden stopped wasting money on huge cubic inches and focused on DOHC smaller cube V8's they might keep up, but fact is ford 6's are always going to kill us

@Miingler The Ford couldn't possibly miss a gear being an auto anyway. The HSV driver did his best in a manual , had it been auto , would have been much closer.

@kaniSS1 - The "V8" idea... FUCK... a lot of V8's are overrated. They're not as powerful as you'd think, unless super or turbo
